Learn more about our creative design process:
At our Free Initial Meeting we will discuss design requirements and preferences as well as perform a visual assessment of areas to be landscaped. Our landscape designer will evaluate grade changes, drainage, zoning and lot coverage issues. Priorities are established and preliminary projected budget is discussed. Please have a copy of the property survey ready for the initial meeting.
The design process continues with an Initial Site Visit. We use the enlarged copy of your property survey to document all existing conditions & setbacks. Field measurements are taken on site to locate and plot all existing conditions such as steps, walls, grades, fences, driveways, trees, drain lines, property boundaries and existing plant locations. Digital photos are taken to document site views and elevations.
The last step of the design process includes presenting you with a Landscape Concept Plan. The plan includes the location, size, and configuration of garden features, such as: patios, walks, steps, decks, walls, and plant buffers. A proposal, plant photos, hardscape photos, and a preliminary project budget are presented for your review.
Project Management– A successful project involves the combination of many different tradesmen such as: arborists, excavators, masons, engineers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, landscape architects, fence companies and paving contractors. It is vital that the project is overseen, implemented and scheduled properly. We have the skill and experience to manage all aspects of your project from start to finish. We will schedule and coordinate all tradesman, prepare and submit all necessary permits, select and coordinate all materials needed, supervise all installations, and provide a clear channel of communication between you and the tradesmen involved with your project. We manage all project details to insure that your project is a success.
