The internship program at R&S Landscaping is geared towards college students in a Horticulture or Landscape Management/Architecture program. Students will gain hands-on experience in the landscape industry.
You will be able to rotate between our three main teams: Design/Build, Grounds Maintenance/Plant Health Care, and Irritation/Lighting – giving you a broad range of practical experience.
The intern will be given a variety of tasks to be performed, as if a regular R&S Landscaping employee You will work as a crewmember part of the time, as well as having solo assignments (based on project and intern skill level).
Real Life Residential landscape Experience
This is a real life experience in a residential landscape firm. The intern is expected to bring professionalism to the job and apply their skills with a company that believes in quality and top-notch customer service.
General duties include job set-up in the morning, implementing the day’s project or task, tracking job materials and labor time, clean up at the end of the day and completing the necessary paper work In-depth interaction and questions are encouraged to make this an enriching experience for both the intern and R&S Landscaping – where we are always looking for ways to incorporate the latest techniques in the green industry.
