R&S DELIVERS HOLIDAY SPIRIT TO LONGTIME CLIENT
Barbara Hoefler of Glen Rock wants to mark the occasion of her upcoming 70th birthday in a big way and R&S Landscaping is giving her a chance to do just that. The company, upon learning about its longtime customer’s milestone birthday, surprised her with a free holiday lighting package designed specifically for her home.
She and her husband Fred will have an opportunity to show off the holiday lighting display on Monday, Jan. 2, when friends and family visit the house for a birthday celebration.
“The Hoefler family is one of our first customers so we’re excited to be able to offer them the gift of this complimentary service,” said Robert Schucker, president, R&S Landscaping. “For nearly 25 years, they have been so loyal to R&S and this is our way of helping them mark an important milestone with their family and friends.”
Hoefler said she and her husband were “extremely touched” by Schucker’s display of kindness.
“Rob knows how much we love to decorate,” she said. “We decorate our house for every holiday — Christmas, Halloween, Easter. We used to decorate both inside our house and outside, but we can’t decorate outside anymore; it’s too strenuous. Rob knew that, so he told us he was giving us this gift.”
As a member of the American Holiday Decorators Association, R&S has a staff of trained lighting professionals who help clients achieve the decorating visions they have for their homes or businesses. The firm provides a number of holiday lighting options that includes design, installation and removal.
The holiday lighting services, said a company spokesperson, include roofline and peak lighting, icicle lights, rope lighting, large tree lighting, shrubs and mini lights, tree wrapping, extension cords/timers, natural boughs and roping, and wreaths, garland and bows.
“With lighting designs that are customized for people of all faiths,” said Schucker, “we provide long-lasting, commercial grade products that are designed, installed, removed and stored by trained professionals, who understand exactly how much wattage it will take to get the job done. Using our Eco Earth Design method, we use energy efficient lighting components that maximize resistance to corrosion due to the elements while minimizing light pollution.”
Holiday lighting, said Hoefler, can brighten an entire neighborhood.
“It is very spectacular looking,” she said. “The neighbors have already commented. This is something very surprising and happy. It’s like winning the lottery. I tell people my landscaper gave me this gift.”
